The location is exceptional for the price. The staff is friendly and helpful, and really went above and beyond. They really did a fantastic job.
Negatives:
The facilities are very old, and everything is considerably worn. But OK, can live with that for the price. It was the smell, though. Imagine the smell of a pile of wet clothes left in a plastic bag for 2 days. That's what it smelled like in the room. Luckily, it was warm outside even at night, so I just kept the window open. But it still felt like the opposite of fresh.

The hotel room was fantastic, and the location exceptional. The concierge and bell team were outstanding, front desk team could do with a bit more enthusiasm ! Would definitely stay here again its a lovely place

I accept that the hotel may not have any influence over the car parking team, but the car parking team were the first people we came in to contact with and they were not helpful in any way, and pretty rude. This hotel really needs a bar ! It has the space but doesnt use it - a big miss

Positives:
There are no dining facilities at the hotel however they do provide recommendations and discounts on a variety of nearby restaurants, bars and diners. Staff were friendly, and the rooms were clean. Location is fantastic, a 2 minute walk from Union Square.
Negatives:
There's a new part of the hotel and an old part. I was in the old part and the room (and the hotel corridors) was very dated. Scrapes on the walls and skirting, badly aged decor and carpeting, that kind of thing. The a/c unit made a lot of noise so had to be turned off at night to allow me to sleep. The windows were both frosted so no real view to the outside. I was also told that the gym was - quote - 'broken' and not available which was disappointing.
