Positives: The location was great- right around the corner from Union Square. Staff was very friendly
Negatives: One of the reasons I chose this hotel was because they have a pool. My grandson planned to swim in the evening after dinner but it turns out the close the pool at 8PM.

Positives: I liked almost everything about it, most especially the little details in the room - shoe buffer, bathroom scale, two magnifying mirrors. Much attention to the smallest details that made it very special. Concierge was great. John Wood helped us take care of some unexpected medical issues. He was able to help with our every request.
Negatives: My one and only complaint was the trek to the room. We stayed in the back in the premier rooms and stairs were a challenge at times.

I was very impressed with this hotel. It's a little gem sitting among the big chain and the most exclusive hotels. It's probably the best deal in SF.
