Good location housekeeping did a very good job .. imperial floor lounge was better than expected always greeted I a nice way and nothing was too much

Booked a upgrade but at reception claimed that it was not available on Arrival .. however when looking at the website for the same dates the executive suite was available but to a lot higher price .. so rather be honest then try to sell to higher price .. generally
Front desk let the experience down a few times I had make contact and was made to wait in a queue for 5-10 minutes even through I could hear additional staff in the back room .. am returning in a few months again and would otherwise consider hotel Nikko again

The lobby was festive for the holidays, very inviting. The lounge was very nice, location is good, the rooms were clean and comfortable with all the comforts.
Negatives:
We were sad the indoor pool and spa was closed for construction. We will plan another trip when it’s open.
Also, would not recommend the in room wine for $40. It just was not good. But the wine at happy hour in the lounge was pretty good.

The room is very small and dry, likely because of the air conditioning. Additionally, the quality of room service is disappointing; the food was not good. I ordered a burger for $70, but it was completely burnt and I couldn't eat it.

Great location! Close to Union square, the BART and buses.
Very comfortable room. Wonderful bed and wonderful bath and enough room in the closet and drawersfor my clothes. I also liked the fact that changing of towels and bed linen was at my choice. The room was cleaned and organized with great care every day!
Negatives:
Well, not much view even in the 16th floor. Swimming pool was under renovation (though they gave free access to the swimming pool of the Hilton across the street, which I didn't try). I didn't like the fact that I was forced to pay through Booking extra money for the usage of the utilities that I didn't have time to use. I did use one morning the 10$ refund for breakfast in the hotel.
