Tries to be "minimalist" but comes across as bare bones. Shelving unit in shower was rusty. Display on bedside clock was broken and no bedside lamp.

Also, it was very helpful that we were assigned a room that was ready at the time of check-in in the morning.

I wish the room was a little more soundproof. The gap between the door and the floor bothered me the most. Also, I had to ask for the bed to be made every time. I wish there was a system where I could request it without having to go to the front desk.

Very handy central location right near Union Square. Nice and clean modern room. Helpful staff.

The room is very small which is fine for the price, but the small window opens onto a brick wall so it feels a bit claustrophobic. Lacks basic ammenities like a bar fridge or kettle/tea & coffee. The safe did not work and was tucked under the bed and was hard to access for an older person, as well as hard to read the instructions. Would only recommend for short stays of a night or two.

I think the rooms are very small, it’s almost impossible to breathe… The housekeeper comes only if you request it, and the room isn’t very clean. The bar and breakfast staff are very attentive, but the cleaning service is not. The only good thing about this hotel is its location!

Great location, very clean, and comfortable.
Negatives:
I called and asked for an iron and ironing board. Apparently I should’ve asked for it with a specific timeframe, as it didn’t show up until well after I needed it. I didn’t attend an event because my outfit wasn’t properly ironed and I didn’t feel comfortable wearing it wrinkled.

I checked in on Aug 22nd at about 4pm.The front-desk lady was very kind, patient and helpful.She helped me reheat my food and keep it in the fridge even after I checked out.I am leaving the best review for her and she definitely deserves a reward.

Updated somewhat recently, windows actually open, bed was comfy enough, super nice staff, you need a credit card for incidental but they don't charge a deposit.

the TVs are in such an odd spot in the room, small and up in the corner, the bathroom light was on a timer that would shut off while I was in the shower, noise from other rooms was noticeable but not impossible.

The location was close to Union square and had lots of options for activities and food. The room itself was small, but tidy.
Negatives:
Our main issue was the hallway to our room reeked and there was a large bag of trash left in front of our door. The room across from us (802) looked like there was a long term resident living there since it was the only room with a swipe card entry and had old flyers/signs on the outside. Most importantly it seemed to be the source of odor which then started coming into our room making it unpleasant for sleep or spending time in our room.
