Positives:
Great location, excelent staff (except for postcard-sending-gate, see below), I liked the carafe and water cooler on the 6th floor, cool fountain outside. Bike friendly and also free snakes and alcohol!
Negatives:
I asked the front desk if they would sell me some stamps for a couple of postcards and they said they would mail them for me. I agreed and then found that they charged me $8 to send two postcards! Much more than two postcards worth of postage!

The hotel has a great location in the city center of San Francisco. It is easy to check in and had a good room.
Negatives:
The hotel has some hostel vibes with a lot of "free" perks (you pay resort tax for it and most of them we didn't use). The breakfast was very minimal and since it is an old building your hotelroom door has several gaps which allow light and sounds to enter your room.
