The hotel is perfectly positioned - 1 block away from Fisherman's Wharf. We were upgraded when we arrived, so that always makes a stay that much better. It was convenient having a restaurant on the premises - and the $15 per day voucher for food or drink was welcome.
The staff were fantastic - from the receptionist that upgraded us and printed our cruise tags for us, to the restaurant and bar staff, the valet and bellboy staff. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was done with a smile.
A taxi was booked for us to the airport, and it was no problem to Frank at Valet Services when we decided to change the time at the last minute.
Negatives:
The valet parking could be cheaper - but weighed against finding parking in San Francisco, it was still worth it.

Worth every penny!
Positives:
I loved the proximity to Fisherman’s Wharf, the cable cars and Ghirardelli. I were able to walk or take the trolley everywhere. I also like the separate room. It gave us more space to spread out. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were so friendly and very helpful with whatever we needed.

The breakfast offered in the attached restaurant was really poor and for $40 per person, plus tax and tip was outrageous.

The valet guys were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Especially Azrial. It was easy to walk to restaurants etc from. Room was comfortable.
