The greeters at the front door, were extremely welcoming with no bias behaviors.
Negatives:
The front check in staff was rude, I asked about parking once we arrived, and she informed me of the price 87.00 per night, then she assumed that myself and husband could not afford the parking and said if you can't afford this there is public parking.

I am a regular guest when in San Francisco. I find the Intercontinental to be consistently high quality, with a friendly, professional welcome and very comfortable rooms no matter what the size.
Positives:
I love the swimming pool. It's so nice to go for a swim and then head back up to my room to continue my day. It's a great amenity to have and rare to find in SF.

The window curtains were sheer, less private and allowed too much light.

I'm a regular twice-a-year holiday-week guest. I love the rooms and their generous size, the staff, and the convenient yet expansive neighborhood 4 blocks from Union Square. The lobby is stylish and the bar often has a buzz of activity.

There was some cultish tech conference going on and because of it the hotel jacked up its prices to a distortional level. It verged on theft. This place is mediocre in every regard.
