Nice hotel, clean rooms. The location was clean and safe. The old tram goes just next to the hotel.

Its on the top of the steep hill, we did not want to use tram or taxi all the time, so the climb was an experience

We ordered food at the bar and it was excellent. Breakfast buffet was amazing. Best buttermilk pancakes.
Staff were helpful and the rooms were cleaned every day.

We arrived late in the evening, and the check-in process went smoothly. The staff were extremely friendly — always smiling, greeting us, and genuinely asking how we were doing and if we needed any help. It was truly pleasant to interact with them.
The hotel’s location is perfect. Everything is close by: Chinatown, the Pier, the sea lions, and even the Alcatraz tours. It’s a very convenient spot for exploring the city, and we really appreciated that.
We were given exactly the room I wanted. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable — much better than the previous room we stayed in. Plenty of space and a very nice atmosphere overall.
Overall, it’s a great hotel with excellent service and an amazing location. We were very satisfied with our stay.

Everything was perfect. There wasn’t a single thing to complain about.

Beautiful hotel and great view of the city from our 8th floor room. It’s an older building that could use some updating, but overall very comfortable. Pleasantly surprised by the yummy thanksgiving dinner special offered by the restaurant!

Best value for the money, at least during the time that we traveled to SF. Great view, clean rooms and most of all, convenient valet parking, if you arrive with a car. SF can be tricky and difficult when it comes to parking, so this was definitely an important criteria for us.

I loved the location. The Nob hill location meant that our hotel was close to Union Square shopping, Chinatown, Washington Square, and Lombard Street. The staff were nice and friendly. The breakfast was decent.
Negatives:
The decor in our room and around the hotel was strange (not cute or stylish). The elevators were being renovated. I would have appreciated more variety with the included breakfast. Still, the food was good.
