La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham San Jose Airport

Negatives: We could have been treated with a bit more dignity and respect by the employees working on the 10th and 11th of March. We instead were treated as if we had done something wrong(which we didnt); wrongfully accused of that which was done to us (i.e. we were robbed by either the maids or another guest, as we returned from touring the city for a mere few HOURS to find our hotel door not only unlocked but propped open, the door that we are absolutely positive we didn't leave unlocked....) Then as if to top it all off, as if this were not bad enough, then we were forced to leave by the hotel manager on the 10th/11th (as it was 1am by this time) when we tried to talk to the night manager about these atrocities not only were they not addressed, but instead we were told to leave without even so much as a refund for the day we didn't get to stay. Now we try and be very understanding and fair to all people as a rule of thumb....but this is an outrage I cannot just let go. We have tried to bring it up to management a few times since only to end up playing phone tag with different people and eventually hung up on. As if we didn't matter at all! Now...surely, I do hope something can be done about this in a fairly quick manner so that we may continue to visit other hotels of yours in the future without so much dismay as we currently have??
