Positives:
The staff was very friendly, and they seemed genuine about it, not the fake friendly. I also really appreciated the added security when checking in late at night. The breakfast was also top notch, both in the variety offered and in flavor. I loved that the property was very quiet, and I cannot say enough great things about the pillows! I also really appreciated that parking was free.
Negatives:
The person I was traveling with LOVED their bed and has the very best things to say about theirs. Mine, on the other hand, I found my bed to be incredibly hard, to where laying on my side was downright painful, so this might be more of a personal preference type situation and less to do with the quality of the bed.

Would definitely recommend this location especially if you have an event at the San Mateo County Event Center.

Staff was helpful. Responded quickly to my requests. Room was comfortable. Had a microwave and refrigerator.

Some noise from a sitting area below our window when the window was open. No problem when I closed the window.

The breakfast in the morning was prepared, presented and attended to in a very professional manner. The many request by the numerous patrons were completed in a timely manner. I have been to many catered food events and can assure you that breakfast event at the Garden Inn was one of the best. Thank you.
Negatives:
I use Hilton Honors membership when I travel. I was disappointed by not being able to book the stay through the Hilton Honors system. I have stayed there before and U knew that it was the stay i wanted. I had to book the room through a third party booking site.

The staff was courteous and friendly from the time of my early arrival to the time of my departure.

The girl that greet me once I walked in to check in was so amazing love her attitude and even explain to me things I didn’t know about the hotel

I didn’t like that at 9am someone open the door to my room and I was really disappointed because it was a staff and it wasn’t housekeeping

We had such a lovely stay! The room was cozy and comfortable, and Sean at the reception truly stood out—he was incredibly professional, helpful, and kind, which made us feel right at home. The restaurant team were all very friendly, and the breakfast was both delicious and varied, with something for everyone. We left with a really positive impression

The breakfast had a good selection of vegetables, fruits, and pastries, but they didn’t feel very fresh, which is an area for improvement.
