Candlewood Suites is pet friendly! Pets weighing less than 80 pounds are welcome. A non-refundable pet fee will be charged to the guest’s account upon check-in based upon the length of stay -- 6 nights up to $75, 7+ nights up to $150. Proper medical certification specifying that all vaccinations are up to date must be available upon request. Pets may be left unattended in your room. However, if you leave the premises of the hotel with your pet unattended in the room, the pet must be in a crate or pet carrier while you are gone.

Located just off Route 101 and less than 2 miles from downtown Santa Maria, this all-suite hotel features rooms with full kitchens. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. Very nice area of Santa Maria. Rooms come with kitchenette fully equipped. Room was clean and looked nice. Pet friendly and there's a walking path for pets. Staff was friendly. Great room for a great price.
Negatives:
$75 pet fee for one night is pretty steep. The walking path for pets is dirty and needs to be maintained.

The staff are absolutely wonderful! Rooms are clean and well equipped. Location is perfect for us. Reasonable rates. This is by far the best place to stay in Santa Maria.

Steve quite a lot extended quite a bit going through a family emergency and they were really helpful for the most part to the last day. That was gonna extend two weeks, but the woman on the front desk threatened me because I had a hard time checking out my sister was sick and I asked if I could pay extra to have a late check out and this woman was really hard-core she didnt need to be. Everyone else prior to her was amazing
