Truth - I was told not to "expect too much", since it was "only" an Extended Stay America. My husband and I were very pleasantly surprised! The room was immaculately clean & the staff was helpful and friendly at every hour of the day!

Im accustom to a little bit nicer hotels, but was in a bind, and didnt want to spend too much. Hotel was clean, staff nice, shower hot, and no odd smells. All in all, would do again if in a bind and if the price was right.

Only thing I found interesting is that the hallways were dark - not pitch black, but enough to think something might be wrong. But I figured they were saving on electricity. That, and the heater was on somewhat high, and it was warm.

Faulty fire amlarm going off in the middle of the night. This is the second Extended Stay America with that issue (Burbank location also).

Amazing staff, safe area, comfy beds, we booked same night due to an unsafe Airbnb and the staff were brilliant with us. Will book again if we return to LA. Staff gave us a warm welcome and gave us plenty of laughs and recommendations of places to visit. We wanted to stay longer just because of the warm welcome we received. Top marks

Only thing I can say is that we didn't get downstairs early enough for the muffins one morning but after our experience the night before with the Airbnb we booked this was no problem for us
