During the check in the reception man was very friendly

The cleaning service threw away my two A4 posters that were lying on the desk in the room. I paid $30 for both. However, they left food waste on top of the fridge. Upon check-out, I brought this to the attention of the receptionist, but she seemed indifferent and did not feel the need to offer any compensation.
