The items in the bathroom was dirty and specialty the tissue boxes and the left over food in the microwave from previous guests:/
The water in the pool was so cold, that my kid was shivering at all times beings in the water and got sick every sense we are back home:/
Also, after we checked out and wanted to to take our stuff from the room and use the restroom, we’ve been asked several times if we are ready to leave and it’s all before 11 am

This hotel was close to everything we had planned. It is beautiful! The staff was amazing and their was a gentleman that was Awesome he did everything... He was reception, he was bartender, he was pool boy, he answered phones and he also did maintenance.

Our room (428) was next to a mechanical room and we woken up at 7:30am due to unloading loud containers and didn’t stop until 9am ish.
We told the front desk about it and stares at us blankly and barely apologized.

The location was convenient to Heavenly Valley Ski Resort, Lake Tahoe, and restaurants in the area. We expected an older, run down inn; but, were pleasantly surprised that this was up to Hilton standards with a clean, modern gym, modern lobby, breakfast area, and room. We enjoyed the heated indoor pool and hot jacuzzi as well as the fresh fruit, scones, scrambled/hard boiled egg options, wheat/white bread options, sausages, bacon, waffles, nuts, granola, and yogurt for breakfast.
Negatives:
Pool towels should be larger; they were the size of gym towels. Our first night we had noisy kids stomping back and forth across the floor above us all night. These may have been the same elementary school age kids chasing each other and crawling on the floor, playing in the breakfast area. Parents: PLEASE teach your kids good manners in public places so that everyone can enjoy their stay. The hotel remedied the noise situation after that first night, thank you staff; but, they should not have to do so. Non-fat yogurt options would be a plus as well as a bit of greens in the breakfast.
