Hotel located right next to Cal Trains commuter trains.. every 20 minutes or so, a north or south bound train would whizz by.. very disruptive AFTER taking my credit card and signing they disclose an additional $12.00 per night parking fee.. NOT prior.

The hotel charges customer every vehicle parking each night at $12.50. I have not met this kind of charges before at other places and cities around whole country.

The staff was friendly and the room view was nice.

The room description said balcony with water view. There was no balcony, and you could only see the water if you went up to the window and looked to the side. The hotel was under construction, so it's hard to rate a lot of it. The breakfast was just a juice and dry Muffin. They gave us inconvenience vouchers for a stack of pancakes or a cappuccino in the morning, but they didn't have the machines for the fancy coffees or pancakes.

The hotel was not what I expected. My room had had a dirty bedsheet hidden behind the sofa. The rolling chair had food stains on it. The entire hotel smelt so bad because of the renovation all I smelt was chemicals which gave me a hug headache

Soundproofing between rooms was poor, dog in next room kept us awake from 3am barking randomly. I will now always check the pet policy of a hotel or make sure I ask or request that there is no dog nextdoor.

I enjoyed the renovated room. It was spacious and well decorated.

I did not enjoy the detour upon entry. I would have appreciated the hotel posting that they were under construction on their website. I am disabled and it was a surprise to park near the entrance and have to travel to the other size of the hotel to enter
