My room was dirty. There was old water left in the tub that stunk like mildew.

Due to the rain these past weekends the fire alarms were going off about midnight and 4 am for quite some time and people did not know what to do and we're leaving by stairs as myself until security meet us in the 9th floor saying and only 1 elev was wrkg

Location appeared relatively safe. It was nice they had a 24 hour gym. Cafe was available, but the amazing Holiday Inn breakfast was not free at this location.

Carpets old,, & were filthy in the lobby space on 3rd floor. Gym-damaged equipment/ wipes needed. Seat shredded w/chair & table/furniture chipped in room w/ old musty smell. During out,clerk was unconcerned about my noise complaint follow up. Said "bye"

I checked in at 1130 am, staff at desk said my room isnt ready but that I would get a text. Never did she state that other rooms were available and ready now if I wanted to change my room type. 3 hrs later still no room and same girl, staff with glasses said it would probably be not until after 3pm maybe 4. I said no way thats unacceptable since your policy itself states that 3pm it a guarantee room. She again said nothing about changing room type. Got irritated with her lack of care because we were there for a concert and needed to get dressed. Went back to desk this time I got Melissa who was very helpful and told me about the room type being available and when she pushed for me to get the room, the other staff, same girl who disregarded me in the first place snatched the room and gave it to another customer. What!!! By this time Im livid, Melissa directed the manger to me who I explained I had been waiting since 11:30 am for a room and it is now 3:30pm. My reservation is paid in full and I cant get a room. He immediately had a room ready for me and finally at 3:45pm we got a room. Funny thing is this staff member that had me and other people waiting for rooms for hours found a way to give people walking in the door rooms and telling them about the room type and if they changed type they could get a room now. After watching her and hearing her do this I assumed she was picking and choosing on who to tell this too. I did inform the manager and he stated that the staff meaning that girl , should of told customers from the beginning about the room type, that its their policy to make customers aware. This young lady was training another employee and I hope he didnt pick up her bad habits.
