The Lodge at Blue Lakes

Negatives: Various little things were missing from room (utensils, supplies and etc). But staff was quick to correct the issue when notified.

Negatives: The pillows were too soft. Found some food left over from previous guest.

Negatives: Selected a "mountain view" room on booking.com, but our room faced the car park. Not really an issue, as we went and sat by the beautiful lake instead. It was a last minute booking, so understandable that availability may be limited. Some rooms do look over the lake and have a lovely view. The welcome from the young lady on reception wasn't the warmest, and there was a small mistake on the charges, though the manager sorted this promptly and was extremely welcoming and friendly. No restaurant.

Negatives: The lounge chairs could use an upgrade, the ice machine needs a new metal handle (the plastic one broke) the compressor to fill the rafts is broken. Place needs a few minor upgrades and a couple more people working there. But Im confident Julian can make that work!

Negatives: Dirty and outdated

Negatives: Kitchenette was inadequate. It lacked space and basic kitchen equipment. The stove definitely needs to be updated.

Negatives: The beds are very uncomfortable. But for 2 nights I could handle it.

Negatives: My refrigerator was unplugged. Cold when I got there so I didnt think to check it. All my food got ruined like 80 dollars worth of bbq meat and dips. When I approached Ted the manager with the issue he seemed reall aggravated that I wanted a credit! I showed him pictures and even told him I would bring the spoiled food. He quickly responded after making a few noises Im not authorized to give more than 50. I said youre the manager right? He said owner. I said then your authorized he has NO customer service skills at all. Also the BBQ propane is No longer free. So its not an amenity at all you have to purchase from Ted for 10 a day which is ridiculous Ill bring my own camping stove next time. Would have been nice to know before we arrived Also found empty wine bottles h set bathroom sink. We dont drink

Negatives: Pool out of service, shouldve stated on website. Power and water was out for a while the before checkout, water was much needed with a baby. Shouldve received a discount for the stay.

Negatives: Bathrooms were filthy. Air conditioning unit was so noisy you could not sleep - even with ear plugs. No Caf / bar. Check in was very slow.

Negatives: I rented the 1bd with livingroom and kitchen. Wasn't impressed for the cost at all. No rugs made it feel cold. Kitchen utensils very limited. Bathroom was small for how large the place was, there was a tub but not built for a couple. Very claustrophobic in bathroom. This was the least nice room I've stayed in here. Tv was outdated and hard to figure out in the bedroom. Livingroom had the better TV but it was cold and uninviting for such a large room. We didn't spend anytime in there. The location of the room was not ideal. Being next to the office didn't seem to have too much privacy. Not a romantic stay that I was looking for

Negatives: The room was dark and the lighting wasn't great. We had to switch one of the flood lights for the bedside light because the bedside light wasn't very bright. The Jacuzzi tub was a lot smaller than we expected and would only fit one person.
