Positives:
Breakfast was excellent, esp. the egg station where one can order omelettes, eggs fried to order. The bar also has a decent list of wines and excellent clam chowder. In all, my meals were satisfying.
My room was spacious and clean. I had an excellent view of river and bridge.
The location is located in the Old Sacramento area. One can walk across the street and take advantage of all the funky shops and restaurants there.
Negatives:
Only valet parking on the premises. And they charge $36/night. Expensive.

Positives:
We were there for Ironman, excellent location, incredible breakfast, nice Happy Hour. Staff very attentive and “on it”, no matter the task! Patrick is your shining star. He is Mr. Hospitality! He cares so much about the guest experience, remembers your name, and family members. He has a constant smile and goes out of his way to assist you. He is the face of your reception area. He exceeds everyone else at the station, the difference is his engagement, interest, and joy in what he does. I hope he gets recognized for the difference he makes!
Your breakfast omelette chefs are amazing, 300+ a day that are high quality and done so quickly!
Nice spacious rooms, great housecleaning teams!
Negatives:
Hiking your rates to 3x the normal rates due to the event. It incongruent with our Hilton and Embassy suites experience and your value of putting the guest first. Come on, 3x the normal rates!
The mattress in room 710 needs to be replaced. The worn springs fully impact a good nights rest. I had great difficulty sleeping.
Your convenience store needs ice cream!!

Positives:
It was our first time at this hotel and I stayed with my elderly parents and husband. Our stay was only for one night. The location was beautiful and nice to be able to slight view of the river and the bridge. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The overall cleanliness of the room was good except for a few things. Loved the floors in the room. It was big and spacious.
Negatives:
The rug in the bedroom looked like it never been steam cleaned, the refrigerator was dirty inside and the rub in the edge of the door. We were four of us but we only had three bath towels in the bathroom. There stains on the couch which should also be steam cleaned. Throughout the night, we heard the most annoying noise coming from upstairs that really disturbed our sleep. It seemed like a noise coming from some sort of a machine. I noticed , inside the elevator there were floors above us ,labeled as the laundry rooms. There’s a possibility that the noise was coming from the machines being used throughout the night which did not help us fall asleep.
