The staff allows guests to smoke cigarettes in side. Drug addicts live in the hotel. Washing machines don’t work but they’ll take your quarters. One door to the outside, near where the dealers stay, doesn’t lock. The hotel owners are aware of this and allow it. The entire hotel is unseats and stinks like cigarettes so badly.

Being told that there is a hundred dollar deposit when we got to check in. It's Ben a moth and we still don't have a return, by the way that's two hundred dollars because we stayed again on March 22. Another hundred dollars.

They don't tell you until you arrive that you have to put an additional deposit of $100-$200 or else you will not stay. That is hand written on a piece of cardboard taped to the window inside. Then it's not promised you get your money back, even if you leave the room in perfect condition. I have been waiting two weeks and they continue to tell me the funds were released the minute I checked out, yet the transaction is still pending. So no, that's not possible. And she won't even try to look and see if possibly something went wrong on their end. Which I'm pretty sure it did especially after leaving my room at 10:30a to go smoke, returning at 10:45a to find I'd been locked out. Check out time is 11:00a, not before. I should've known from the get go something wasn't gonna be right when the reservation was non refundable. Will not use this place again mainly bcz of hidden fees until you're at the place and can't get a refund.. bad business. Manipulation.. liars ..

Some staff were great, until you had an issue.. then it got rude. I was told I wouldn’t be charged for my cancellation due to the city of COS receiving a large amount of snow and multiple flights were cancelled. On top of that I specifically was snowed in my home in Walsenburg that received 2.5 feet of snow. However I was charged because there was no follow through. As far as resulting in a phone call at 2:30 am to inquire why I wasn’t checked in and then marked as a no show.
