Just where the location was even though your close to the freeway there's a point when your just to close, cause almost all part of the day there is major traffic and you can't get out.

I liked that it could accommodate my large family with a pull-out couch & extra bathroom in the adjoining room to our 2 "Queen-size" beds. Breakfast was good. It's in walking distance to Chick-fil-A next door, and other restaurants and coffee shops.
Negatives:
That other guests were standing outside the entrance to the lodging building smoking joints, and one guy was standing at the same entrance, loitering & chain smoking while listening to music on his small Bluetooth speaker, & the smoke smell from the cigarettes and marijuana traveled into the first hallway in the hotel.
That we had to walk outside to go to breakfast in the lobby that was a separate building. That everything in our room felt old & outdated. The pictures online made the front of the hotel look newer than it was in person. It wasn't bad, but it didn't "feel" as clean with everything being as old as it was. Most hotels now have bleachable bedspreads. Our room had printed bedspreads, probably from the 90s, old green carpet, old curtains & the pullout couch was an old hide-a-bed, but my 12 yr old slept okay on it. With a few cosmetic updates, a covered smoking area AWAY from the entrances, & at least a covered walkway from the rooms to the lobby, this could be a really nice place.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had been turned away from another ‘pet friendly’ hotel because they don’t take cats but the staff at this hotel was very welcoming. Clean, comfortable room. Felt safe. Good location for Garden of the Gods.
