Positives:
Chocolate cookies are delicious. Restaurant and cleaning staff were outstanding: kind, patient, and responsive. Room was good size and had ample space to put clothes and luggage.
Negatives:
Room was a bit noisy right by the elevator and near the parking lot. The ceiling and carpet had seen better times. There is no room service. The description of the property on booking.com or the website didn't say the pool would close during our stay (this is the reason we moved from the Double Tree in MLK to this one). It would be nice if the street adjacent to the hotel (the curve) was clean; there was gravel. Wifi was horrible: Not only was it hard to figure out how to connect but the signal was spotty; then, we couldn't figure out how to get the premium wifi. I also wish there was one of those water fountains to fill out the bottle, not just a drinking fountain. The restaurant's food was mediocre but again, staff was great.

Negatives:
the front desk staff was rude and was not transparent about fees. i was originally charged the rate that i booked the room for and the second day of our stay the front desk staff, Shelby, told me that the price i paid was only for one room and i had to pay essentially double the rate i booked for. I showed Shelby multiple receipts that showed the rate I booked the room for and she insisted that I needed to be charged a second time.
