Best value for downtown Denver...
Positives:
I stayed in this hotel for 11 nights on a business trip. I was worried after reading some of previous reviews, but it was much cleaner than I expected and the room was well maintained. In particular, the coffee and hot tea in the hallway, including breakfast, were very attractive. I recommend this hotel if you are planning a business or trip to downtown Denver.

Location was nice and centrally located. Breakfast was good, variety not a lot but quality was ok. Unfortunately these are the only nice things I can say about this hotel.

While I do not mind the policy of cleaning rooms every 2nd. day, on our 3rd. day at this hotel we left in the morning and had a beautiful day of exploring the city, nice lunch out, only to return to the hotel around 2:00 - 2:30 PM to find our room was still not cleaned, we went to reception to let them know and they told us they would ask them to clean the room straight away. We decided to wait in the lobby area to allow the cleaners the time & space to do what they needed to do. After almost an hour we decided it should be ok to go back to the room. When we got to the room, it was still not cleaned, Obviously upset my husband went back to reception to complain and ask why it was still not cleaned. This was of course addressed by the Manager of Housekeeping coming to us and very rudely tell my husband that he had no right to speak to HIS staff, That they have until 5PM to complete their cleaning responsibilities and if we have any issues with this then we are to speak to him and not his staff. When we tried to tell him our side of this, he simply did not want to hear it. He just kept repeating they had till 5PM to clean all the rooms. (first of all this is the 1st hotel we have ever stayed in where housekeeping takes this long) and we should not speak to HIS staff. This man was extremely rude to us and the entire experience almost completely ruined our visit to Denver.

Hotel was wonderful. The Room was spacious. Comfortable bed. It came with a full size fridge and kitchen area with intensils if you wish to use. Room was well thought out. View of the city was great. Was really close to the convention centre and the area surrounded by shopping and great restaurants.
