Positives:
I was excited to book at The Kimpton. The pictures online looked great. But was disappointed after arriving.
Negatives:
Immediately when we walked in the hotel had the worst musty smell. I thought maybe once we got to the room it would go away, but the whole hotel smelled bad. The front desk staff were unfriendly and seemed bothered that we were asking to check-in. Seriously, in the course of 2 days we had 3 people we were speaking with, one at check-in, one at check-out, and one who tagged our luggage so that we could leave them at the hotel while we explored after checkout. All of the staff were very rude. This was a Mother-Daughter trip to pick out a wedding dress and we couldn’t believe how rude the staff was. We were so nice and friendly and got not even as much as a smile back. I will never stay here again.

Toiletries were available upon request and coffee in the morning.
Negatives:
We waited at 1:30 in the morning to get our room. Staff took an hour and a half to register two guests ahead of us. We were given no info regarding the amenities of the property.

Positives:
The staff was nice and the hotel itself was lovely. The wine hour and the whiskey tasting were a really nice touch.
Negatives:
I did not like the Panzano restaurant. The service was terrible. The staff at breakfast was lethargic and not attentive.
