Clean, newly remodeled. Great indoor pool and hot tub. Super breakfast. Nice staff. Loved the complimentary bottled water, water with lemon at front desk, coffee, tea/hot beverage table 24/7. Quiet. Great location close, but not in, downtown Durango.

Outside looks a bit dated but don't let this fool you.

We picked this hotel over the others in the area for the hot cookies, but they lamely blamed COVID-19 (it is now 2024) for not offering cookies any longer. Then I got out my rewards info, and was told that only got me 2 bottles of water, not any of the snacks. No cookies, no snacks. Reluctantly, the counter attendant forked over 1 pack of 4 Oreos with our water. Sheesh.
The ice maker was broken on our floor, there was mold in the bathroom, the aftermarket "closet" had wires and cords hanging out, most of the charger stations didn't work, the room overlooked people's homes, and there was a barking dog at one home. You get the idea. If you are in Durango, you can find a better place to stay.
