I don't think this is on the hotel...the shared driveway entrance to both Courtyard and Residence Inn has some unavoidable pot holes that were pretty rough when you pulled out. That may be the responsibility of the town of Glenwood Springs.

The hotel itself is in a prime spot. Far enough away from town to be quiet, close enough to all the attractions you want to see in town as a tourist. The pool, hot tub, and workout center were always clean. The room was spacious and well-furnished especially for a solo traveller myself (I got a king room, and it included a couch with an ottoman, desk with roll-out detachment, and a TV that pivoted out and towards the bed). The bathroom was also spacious and modern. Room also featured an easy set and forget thermostat instead of a clunky AC unit in the wall. The lobby also had a very nice common space too.
Negatives:
I was surprised to see my room didn't have a microwave. It seems like a petty complaint but every cheaper and more expensive hotel I've been to has a microwave even if its just for popcorn or reheating some leftovers. The on-site cafe left a lot to be desired and was only open sporadically, but luckily good eats were very close to the location. A really, really petty complaint is that it was box-elder-bug season and they of course found a way into the room so I had to smack a few. But that's pretty much unavoidable in the West!

A Great Location Away From The Downtown Hustle & Bustle With Everything You Need.

Parking fee that was charged and no one let me know about, having to get my own towels from the front desk, customer service, breakfast was not free, bistro closed at night, no fire pits in back were able to be lit, no microwave in the room, you have to restock your own coffee and cups, no free coffee in loby, bottle water was expensive, pool looked dirty.

I asked specifically if they used Feathers in any pillows or blankets, and I was told No
After laying down, I couldn't breathe after a few hub realized that pillows were feather after an attack, which could of killed me , I got 0 sleep cause they didn't have any pillows to swap so I had to sit up all night on the sofa :(
I'm very disappointed, $400 a night to get 0 sleep. I couldn't even speak with a manager as I feel I should have been comped 1/2 my staff since u know they almost killed me , I'm 100% highly allergic

Room rate apparently can vary depending upon occupancy of the hotel as it was slightly higher than what Hotels.com said it would be. Also, we stayed 2 nights and there was no room service (towels, trash removal, etc) until after 2 nights. Really, seems unusual to me. No free breakfast.

Multiple hairs in bed, on 1 towel in bathroom and in shower. Not a huge deal but definitely not as clean as expected for the price. Multiple spiders which my daughter is allergic to. These things made stay uncomfortable
