Location was terrible, not in Vail proper. Hotel tried to fancy itself up but was really just a mediocre doubletree. room view was terrible just looking out into the parking lot. not a resort but charged $45 a day. Complete BS.

The hotel was great. Very clean, spacious, and wonderful accomodations. The hotel gym was great for working out in. The hotel shuttle made it so easy to get to Vail.
Negatives:
The poor front desk people always seemed overwhelmed. Check in and check out both took awhile which we didn't mind waiting. The staff looked frazzled each time trying to deal with the lines. Once you were helped, they were soooo friendly and nice.

I am rather upset about misinformation on pet fee. Here on booking.com it shows $40, at the time of arrival, I got charged $100 for my dog for one night, and the receptionist was not helpful in sorting this situation out. I have tried reaching out to the hotel to sort this out, no response so far.

The room was too dark, I did not like facing the parking lot. I would have liked a tub. The TV was too small.

I didn't know I wouldn't get Hilton Honors Points because I booked through Booking. Com. Also, I was only booked for one night when I booked two nights. I had to prove my reservation with a hard copy I had printed out.
