It was safe, comfy, and got the job done. It also had a heat lamp in the bathroom so I could pretend to be a duckling at Tractor Supply Co.
Negatives:
The first La Quinta I’ve been to that was an exterior door motel model. It was a little sketchy and nobody followed the no smoking around the building rule. Also the only ice machine was on the top floor with no signage to indicate that it was there. And you’re not allowed to take breakfast back to your room!

The mattress was sagging in the middle and hard on the outside edge. My husband and I kept rolling together into the middle. Please replace the mattresses and you'll get an excellent rating from me.

Staff was very nice. Maintence person Jason was very kind and did all he could to help with problems. Thankful there was a laundry.

Exterior metal old and rusty. Our toilet rocked like a boat was not installed correctly. Light in bathroom was continually flashing. And there was No HEAT. Needs a lot of work to make it nice.

No water or juice at free breakfast.The water in the lobby entrance wasnt refreshed all weekend. Bug in it.TV didnt work. Called but maintenance didnt come. Key card deactivated 2-3 times during our weekend stay do to the reader.

The room seemed nice in appearance and the staff was friendly. The price of everything has gone up but this was somewhat affordable in comparison to others. We had to leave our apartment for repairs and had no place to go with two cats, so I was relieved to find a place that was pet friendly.
Negatives:
There were bed bugs. I have really bad reactions to them, so I slept in the car after the first line of bites. My son slept in a chair at the desk. My husband was too tired to worry about it and slept on the bed. However, the mattresses are super hard and my husband has been in pain since that night. The side of the mattress felt like wood. They said the manager would call but they never did.
