Positives:
Location of hotel was great, close to downtown Hartford and great stores located nearby for last minute runs.
The complimentary breakfast on Sunday was mediocre. Monday's breakfast was much better however the French toast was cold and stiff.
Negatives:
I didn't like the daily parking fee - that wasn't stated on my initial booking of the room and we stayed at this exact hotel a year prior and there was no parking fee then.
The TV in my room was inoperable so that was bothersome. Three of us stayed in the suite so I would have liked to be able to relax in my bedroom and watch what I wanted.
I don't like that the TV's are still analog. In this day and age a smart TV would be feasible so ppl can watch streaming services.

It was clean and the staff were helpful and friendly.
Negatives:
The pull out sofa bed. It was unusable. We were in town for a funeral, so we were sharing the room with my mom who was going to use the pull out sofa, but it was so unimaginably uncomfortable that she just slept on it as a couch. The problem was the mattress, if you can call it that. Honestly, I’m sorry to disparage the hotel, but if you’re looking at the hotel and planning to use the sofa bed, good luck… Also, standard crappy U.S. hotel breakfast. The breakfast sandwiches were literally warmed up in their plastic packaging and left in the warming trays like that. Seriously?

the room advertised was two beds and it actually was only one bed, the hotel says that they couldn’t do anything, they said it was incorrect on your side and they were fully booked so they couldn't give us the 2 beds bedroom....my teens had to share the sofa which wasn't comfortable at all

Staff told me booking.com had canceled my reservation in Aug and was about to charge me for a new reservation but finally found my prepaid reservation, with lots of frustrated people on line to check in. Pool was freezing. The mattress was the MOST uncomfortable I have ever slept on, so bad I slept on the pull out couch and it was actually better. Considering the price, not worth it.
