Bad habits for smelling smoking...
Positives:
There was no breakfast, this was a lie!! There were also no toothbrushes, my teeth were so mossy. There was however, pee in the elevator
Negatives:
The pee in the elevator, and the floors were so oily. And the bed hurt my ribs. And I thought I might get murdered. They didn’t let us in unless we call the front desk, I’m guessing they’ve had problems with serial killers and prostitution in the past and/or currently.

Positives:
there was no breakfast for ANY of the six nights we stayed.
Negatives:
the king bed was soft, sank in the middle, could feel the coils from within the mattress. We needed a fridge for insulin. Our original booking had been cancelled by Booking.Com without notice to us; when we arrived, the front desk established a "new" booking at $100 more. My credit card has been charged TWICE, once by Booking.com and the other by Red Roof Inn. I now have to struggle to receive credit from one or the other. One evening, we returned to the hotel parking to be accosted by a pan handler begging for money. She wouldn't take "NO" for an answer either!!

Comfortable, clean beds in a nice big room. WiFi strength was surprisingly good.
Negatives:
Wish they had breakfast, or at least coffee in the lobby area. It was difficult to get the room cool - the air conditioning unit under the window just didn't have the strength it needed for the size of the room. The stairwell was ridiculously dark. And I absolutely hated having to call the front desk to get into the building at night. I understand the need for security, but they could find a way to make the doors open using your room key like every other hotel does.

the staff were very nice. that’s about it for positives.
Negatives:
this hotel was so run down and dirty. the door into the lobby must be beeped in (to keep non-guests out??!). the bed was extremely hard, there were random brown hairs around the room/on a towel (I am a blonde). this was by far the worst and scariest hotel I’ve ever stayed at.
