Positives: When we pointed out foul odor of smoke in room upon arrival, we were moved to a room with lesser smoke odor. Newer air condition unit worked well though.
Negatives: Upon arrival, employees were cursing at one another in the lobby and I did have to return with my key card to notify staff of room stinking of cigarette smoke so they wouldn't attempt to possibly stick us with a smoking charge for what should've been a smoke free room. When I asked staff if all the rooms smelled of smoke, he didn't answer but another upset guest in line behind me said yes as she demanded her money back because of concern for her newborn and was refusing to stay. They moved me to another room with less of a smoke odor which was more tolerable but it still left smoke scent on my clothes after sleeping in bed. Walls had missing paint. Floors felt filmy. Electric outlets worked but many had broken faceplates, many housing recipients apparently live here who hang out late and loudly on balconies. Do not think this was good value relative to quality of accommodation.

Negatives: The room smelled of must and mold. Beds were uncomfortable, flooring throughout was not clean, it was sad to see homeless sleeping on property exiting the Inn I was not expecting to see this, took me off guard. Customer service needs work, the manager was not helpful at all. Very disappointed in my stay at this place and not recommended!

Negatives: I would not recommend this Hotel to Anyone! So I would like to begin my review by stating I live in New York coming to Connecticut for a family occasion I do this Yearly and wanted to give another hotel a try from the one I usually stay at I booked my reservation with this hotel with the no pre payment option meaning I would be paying for my stay when I arrived to the hotel. the day I was supposed to be arriving at 11am (but mind you check in is at 3pm) I received a call from the manager which was a Women She called to ask me about Paying off my hotel fee i was at a lost because I always use the no pre payment option for hotels and to my knowledge I shouldn’t be paying for the stay until I was at the front desk myself so she went on to say that they were going to cancel my rooms if I did not pay right now with a very nasty attitude for no reason at all. so I did.. then I arrive at the hotel at 5pm I check in with a man at the front desk at this time he tells me that I have to put down a extra 200 for the 2 rooms I booked incidental fees Which I was in aware of but I did because at this point getting another hotel would be very hard in a area I don’t live in. I got to my rooms the beds were neatly done in room 1 not so good in room two, stains all over the walls inside the different kinds of bugs all inside of the room both bathrooms were disgusting very disgusting. Out of the 3 lights inside the room 2 were broke Room 1 has a refrigerator room 2 didn’t. Room 2 had a phone, Room 1 didn’t the floors were filthy I had to go to the shop rite up the blocks to buy my own cleaning essentials which was very unexceptional nobody should have to do that going to a hotel/motel so again I would never return to this place or even recommend anyone to stay here
