Red Roof Inn Mystic - New London

Outdated and not clean. Toilet was leaking and staff only put towels around the toilet. Very musty smell.

We thought we'd give this place a chance since we were going to a concert at Mohegan Sun. When we checked in to the hotel they advertised that it was a non smoking room. When we got to our room it was overwhelming how much it smelt like cigarettes. We changed and got ready for the concert and left. Once the concert was over we called the hotel lobby from the casino to ask if r could switch rooms. The last said "yes". We left the casino about 30 min later after the conversation, we then went back to our room to gather our things so we could change rooms. As we drove up to the room (room doors are all outside) we noticed that our front door if the hotel room was propped open! We cautiously entered the room, no one was in it, lights were on, and all of our stuff was luckily still there. Once we gathered all of our things we went to the lobby. We told the lady what had happened and she replied "I shut the door". (Well if you shut the door how would we of ever known you went into our room in the first place?!) it was a unless argument with her and the manger. They switched our rooms, it smelt better then the first, but we will never stay here again.

The parking lot wasn't plowed well, the rooms were clean, the beds were uncomfortable. The shower had horrible water pressure.
