I had a team of workers drive from Boston to work an event and reserved rooms for them that were not honored. I called earlier in the day and informed the front desk staff (Ajohnny) who also left a note for his manager (Tiara) that a couple of my workers would be checking in later that evening. The workers also called ahead to confirm they would still be arriving that evening. When they arrived, they were told that there rooms were given away as the hotel overbooked. They had to drive 3 hours back to Boston in the middle of the night after being exhausted from a long day of work. Completely unacceptable!

It took almost 45 minutes to get into our room. The key cards did not work - so we were going back & forth - getting anxious because we had a wedding to get dressed for!! Finally changed rooms & the key cards worked!!! It was a disappointing waste of time, esp since we had called ahead of time to get an early arrival!!.

When we checked in, there was no one at the front desk. It took 10 minutes and the clerk finally arrived. Hallways were dark and dingy. Room was very dated. There were no towels and the smoke alarm was covered in plastic wrap. Needless to say, we did not stay. The only positive note was the manager was apologetic and quickly refunded the money back to my credit card.

Breakfast, cleanliness of hotel and room, items in the room were broken (closet, table). Refrigerator and cabinets were shabby, carpet was not cleaned properly and therefore I was struggling to breathe and it triggered allergies, we ended up canceling the next three nights stay and finding another hotel for the rest of the stay.
