La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Stonington

Negatives: The air conditioner did not work well. The air did not come out too well and kept cutting off. At night, the room was very stuffy. The beds were hard and uncomfortable.

Negatives: I did not like the lack of air quality in the rooms. Our room had a broken system and we woke up soaked in sweat from the heat being stuck on blast. We had to switch rooms. The pool was NOT heated. The purpose of the trip was for my children to swim. Especially my disabled son, who can not tolerate freezing water. He did not get to swim with his sister. My daughter was the only one of the 4 in my family who swam. False advertising! I was told the “maintenance “ left it on standard 80 degrees. It was about 60 maybe! Absolutely freezing! Another family asked the same front desk agent to turn up the heat and she said “no problem” after knowing all weekend my disabled son was missing out because of the freezing cold temperature! Is it 80? Is it maintenance keeps it at 80? Or can you change it and just refused to all weekend? Or is that a lie too? Called me after telling me the room switch was 17.00 and said we owed 40?!?! I asked if it was a one time charge and she said yes before we upgraded for my disabled son to have more room to move around…all in all we will never stay there again. We didn’t sleep the first night because of being extra hot, the water was freezing in the pool that claims to be heated and then charged more then quoted for a room change and still had to make another. They didn’t try to compensate for the hellish first night with the heat nor the issue with the pool. Stay away! Not worth the musical chairs with the rooms or the false advertising with the pool. (It wasn’t even skimmed correctly…..forgot to add I had to skim out hair and junk from who knows what before my daughter went in….she was grossed out at first. She came out teeth chattering…but was a trooper since this was all my kids really wanted to do anyways. Price check Holiday Inn or Hilton first! The Bellissimo Grande has a heated pool that is really nice! (I should have gone with my gut)

Negatives: It was all good!

Negatives: Pool was a little cool considering it was small enough to keep warm

Negatives: Only complaint is the pillows were horrible. Hard a rock. Otherwise we had a nice stay

Negatives: The fact we spent money for things they knew they didn't have like a fitness center and we weren't even offered a discount or anything

Negatives: The computer chair was broke. I sat it in and I feel out of the chair because it was missing a screw. When I picked the chair up after falling g out of it the chair fell again and landed on my toe. I’m pretty sure I broke it but since nothing can be done about a broken toe I didn’t go yo urgent care. Could of had hot breakfast options like eggs, sausage, more fruit variety.
