There for my 35th class reunion. Entire weekend from room to staff to food to venue - EXCELLENT
Positives:
Clean, great location, close to the beach and bay, many restaurants and bars within walking distance. Overall a very good facility - good breakfast and amenities.
Negatives:
The pool was like a big wading pool. It was only 3 1/2 feet deep at the deep end.

We liked it and would stay here when we come back and would definitely recommend it.

The beach access on bay side was very nice. Great views and nice place to hang out. The attached restaurant was good and had an awesome wait staff with delicious food.
Negatives:
The outdoor deck and beach area were closed for private events so we did not get to fully enjoy them for the complete duration of our stay.
The indoor pool was too cold to swim.

I was lodged in a room right next to an exit/entey way to the elevators and stairs. That proved to be a quiet noisey area as guests passed throughout the late evening waking the family and dogs.

Second time am staying at this location for a business function the rooms however both times have had no windows offering natural light or any views therefore making the room and stay rather dull and gloomy

I’ve stayed at Hyatt Place many times. The location is fantastic.
Negatives:
The rooms are always great but this time there was a small piece of food in a corner and it attracted a lot of ants. The hotel was nice enough to give me a discount and change my room to what they had available which was a condo suite. It was nice.
BUT I left medication in the refrigerator in a small zipper bag. It was the only thing in the fridge. I called 2 hours after I left, when I remembered. The room had been cleaned and the medication disappeared. Never turned in or reported.
I can’t imagine that housekeeping would not check inside the bag see it was medication and not turn it in. It was $400.

Loved the place and the staff were so helpful, especially Mia at the front desk she gave so many good recommendations and was so friendly! Location was perfect for what we were looking for, close to the beach and nightlife.

Only one complaint, there were ants in our room.

Pleasant convenient place to stay for vacation
Positives:
Location is super, staff very friendly, room is spacious; front desk especially helpful; As with most of Dewey the ocean is such a short walk but we enjoyed nighttime on the Bay
Negatives:
No bathtub as shown in the pics, shower only (we didn’t push to swap); Bed was okay but not great, but the room did have a lot of space. Breakfast selection was limited for one of us had an allergy that was in each day’s fruit salad, but the rest of the family enjoyed breakfast.
