The breakfast staff was amazing. They were attentive and kept everything clean and well stocked. The location was perfect for visiting the University of Deleware.
Negatives:
The pool was closed. There were air vent tubes in the lobby. Trash bags were left in the hallway all day. The TV in the bedroom did not work.

In my 25 years of travel, and having enjoyed over 2000 nights at hotels, this property lands at the bottom of hotel stays. To be blunt about it - this place is a dump! There is plenty at the hotel that is broken or out of order and this hotel is dire need of a major overhaul. Based on other reviews about this property, it looks like the out of order list has been there for many months. The hotel reminds me of the outdated hotels I used to stay at in the 80s and 90s. Definitely a knock on the Hilton brand!

Worst stay in my hotel life
Positives:
Very close to UD, friendly staff, plenty of space. The server at breakfast smiling and friendly.
Negatives:
Carpets/ upholstery on couches and chairs in room was sticky/stained. Cost was $310 for a stay on a Tuesday night in rural Delaware.
