Negatives: While I loved my stay, I had quite a surprise when I received my statement online after chekcking out and was charged a $100 pet fee. The fee for my dog was nearly as much as the fee for my entire room. I always travel with my dog and at every other hotel, the pet fee has ALWAYS been verbally stated/clarified/confirmed when I check in. I did sign the paper about pets, but again...shame on me...because I just glanced at it and the lighting at the front desk was dim, so did not look at it as closely as I should have. Shame on me for that, as I just glanced at it and thought that I was signing for a fee in the event that my pet caused damage. Your staff should really make sure to explain that the fee is $100 at checking, as your pet fee was double to triple what it has been at every other hotel. For that reason, alone, I will not be returning.

Positives: We prebooked this on hotels.com and didn't realize it was non refundable. I had the flu and couldn't come. I called thr manager and Mariott's cstomer care, however they could not help me
