Great location that is few minutes away from the subway foggy bottom, CVS, restaurants nearby etc; the cleanliness of the room, great view and spacious rooms.

A pleasant stay
Positives:
The hotel is in a nice neighborhood and is within walking distance of the Metro station and is near to stores and some restaurants.
Negatives:
The temperature has dipped into the forties and is was cold but rhetorical hotel thermostats were set for air conditioning only so needed not only an extra blanket but also a space heater to warm up the room.

Superb location very near Foggy Bottom metro station, lots of good restaurants in the area and very convenient to GWU. Used this hotel for a business meeting / workshop at GWU and couldn't be happier with the location and price / performance ratio. DC is expensive, but this seemed to be one of the more reasonable hotels downtown. Staff were exceptional and always helpful and pleasant. Snack bar area was nice, but there is also a 7-11 convenience store about a block away. Room was nice, clean, and had a great bathroom, very pleasant.

I think this is my 50th review that I harp on breakfast. I'm in town for a business event, probably starting at 8am, I've traveled all over Europe and Asia, universally a good to great breakfast is available at the hotels I stay at... sometimes a fantastic breakfast... do you want to know which hotels I return to? the ones with the best breakfast, because I'm asleep the rest of my stay, a nice bed is nice, but I'm asleep in 10 minutes and then heading out. But a nice breakfast really makes an impact. That said the ARC doesn't have breakfast but I encourage them to try to come up with something in the future. I headed to the starbucks at Foggy Bottom which is all I could find. This is the only thing I didn't like about this wonderful hotel... No breakfast! (snack bar doesn't count).
