Positives: Every staff member was ALWAYS kind. That's a strong statement and I mean every word of it. We were only in town for 24 hours and the staff was so helpful answering our pesky tourist questions. For safety, they kept the lobby door locked after hours and we used our key to get in the door. Also, the room key was needed to get the elevator to go up. We appreciated the safety these extra steps offered.
Negatives: The surrounding neighborhood near the hotel wasn't great. The hotel overcame this by offering a free shuttle to the subway station. Our shuttle driver exceeded expectations by dropping us off near the capital building so we didn't even need to use the subway.

Positives: Room was fine. Location was fine. Unacceptable that we had to go across the way foe breakfast.
Negatives: Was 3 nights and our room wasn't cleaned at all. Trash can was overflowing. Requested towels every day. Got clean sheets, towels and trash liner from front desk after being gone all day and had to make my own bed. Could only use one elevator and you had to keep playing with the staff elevator until the one guest elevator came down. Website listed swim pool but when we got there we learned the the shared pool had been down for 2 months and yet we are being charged for that amenity. We had to go over to the other hotel to buy snacks and eat breakfast but we key card didn't work.

Negatives: The guy at lobby was rude. They double charged the room rate in my credit card and I have no response yet. They gave me another room (1 double bed / sofa) when my reservation was 2 double beds.
