Positives:
The hotel was in the perfect location, close to DuPont Circle. The staff was excellent from the welcoming, Diane Contreras was so sweet and helpful. Always the rest of the employees in the concierge including their manager were so nice, friendly and ready to help. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and beautiful. The housekeeper was always very attentive and ready to please you with anything you needed. I would recommend this hotel for a good stay in Washington DC.

The staff was helpful and responsive, and the location is excellent. Easy access to the entire city. Walkable to most areas.
Negatives:
My room was clean, but definitely needed some renovation (wall paper was peeling, some holes in the walls, etc.). For the price, it was ok. But a few improvements would make this a great hotel.

Positives:
Room met expectations. We didn't plan to spend much time there so opted for minimal accommodations. Small refrigerator would have been nice to store leftovers. There was a microwave available on each floor.
Negatives:
Refrigerator in room. padding on bed was a bit stiff otherwise the bed was comfortable. Would be good for front desk to have maps of metro and walking maps...or at least provide sheet with links to help those unfamiliar with DC.

Positives:
The room was clean and the location was convenient. Bed was comfortable enough, and the space itself met expectations. The room and location were the only highlights. It was easy to get around the area on foot, and check-in was relatively quick.
Negatives:
The staff was unwelcoming and unaccommodating, especially around accessibility needs. We were charged to valet a handicap vehicle that didn’t fit in their garage, then told the next day it would cost double—$130/day to park. No help or alternative suggestions until we figured out that street parking right out front worked fine (something they could have easily told us). When we mentioned we’d do that instead, we got an attitude about paying the meter.
To make matters worse, they suddenly decided on day 3 to charge a pet fee, even though we confirmed dogs were allowed during booking and check-in.
Key cards constantly failed—had to replace mine at least 10 times. All in all, it felt like they saw guests as a burden, not something they’re there to support.
