Hidden fees of 100 dolars plus because of the parking that is not free...
Also that I had to leave by 11am, not by usual noon, so had to park the car by portuguese embassy which lead me to have to pay a fine of 45 dolars...

Great stay - very clean, comfortable and safe

Breakfast was plentiful and as expected. I would have appreciated just a half hour extension for the closing time during the week.
Negatives:
My wife will often remain in the room while I bring her coffee and a small muffin or toast. I did not see an easy beverage carrier or small paper bag. Perhaps it was there. But it would have made bringing those two items upstairs much easier. Without room service available, I would have greatly appreciated those two items in the breakfast area.

I wasn’t told I had to pay 125 for a hold per night stay . When I booked the room nothing was said about that , not in the confirmation email at all stating that. It would of been nice if I was told in advance

The location is fabulous. Breakfast was very good and evening snacks were a plus. Bags need to be better monitored when checked before or after check in. Normally they are safely behind a check in desk. In this case they are in a very visible room that is not always being monitored. We witnessed someone impatiently just tossing their bag in before being given a ticket. He could have easily grabbed any bag sitting there.
Otherwise, no issues. Would return for sure.

Room was very spacious and comfortable.
Location was excellent. Close to Metro lines, close to D.C. Mall and museums, and close to a variety of restaurants.
Negatives:
The lobby and restaurant areas were VERY cold. It was really unpleasant.
