Positives: Cherokee, the young lady who greeted us, was very professional and friendly. Our train was delayed and we arrived after 1:00 am. Our arrival time didn't matter to Cherokee she was very pleasant and answered all our questions with patience and with a smile.
Negatives: I didn't like that the TV in the living room did not work. Also, while I was ironing the outfit I was going to wear the next day, all the power went out in the living room. Not to mention upon my returning to my suite after having a great day, my suite was not cleaned. When I went to tell someone at the front desk that my suite was not cleaned, I was told by the young lady (not Cherokee, she was not working) that Hilton's policy is to clean the room every other day. It is absurd that Homewood Suites is charging over $350 a night, and I can't get my room cleaned. My bed was not made, and the bathroom was not cleaned. I won't be coming back, and I will not recommend it to my family and friends.

Positives: Room has nice floor plan . Hotel was close to Metro station. Breakfast was generous. Staff was friendly and helpful. E bike or scooter gave good access to the Capitol and National mall.
Negatives: We could hear the Mero train zoom through the large street sidewalk vent from the street below our room on the 4rd floor . Kleenex could be more generous.

Positives: the location was fantastic and easy to get to many different areas of the city depending on the vibe you wanted for the day. The staff was absolutely amazing and accommodating for all our needs, especially the front desk. The complementary breakfast was served during reasonable hours and really good quality.
Negatives: the elevators were really loud and seemed due for maintenance. You could hear the noise from them in all the neighboring rooms while they were running, which was seemingly all day.

Negatives: Hilton Navy Yard engaged in false advertising, and all issues were blamed on Booking.com. Upon arrival, I encountered difficulties addressing my questions and concerns because it was a third-party booking. I had a meeting scheduled, but during setup, I was forced to relocate to another room, causing further inconvenience. Additionally, the room I was given had hair on the floor and carpet, which I documented with photos. The manager claimed they would compensate my valet parking fee of $67.00, yet the charge still appears on my bank statement. I also paid $248.00 for an additional room due to the small size of the original one. They assured me this charge would be compensated, but I was still billed, and it remains on my statement despite having the receipt. While my overall experience was terrible—including the pool being out of order—the front desk operations supervisor handled the situation professionally. She was firm yet helpful and did her best to assist me. However, I was still misled and will be disputing these charges. Looking back, I should have followed through with my original plan to stay at the Gaylord Hotel.
