Hyatt Place is a solid retreat for active tourists and visitors seeking a near-central, short stay in Washington DC.
The location is good , offering direct access to major transit and the city's iconic sights. If you enjoy exploring on foot, many top attractions and Smithsonian museums are within a pleasant 15–20 minute walk like nearest metro station or historic and political landmark
I particularly appreciated the breakfast and the convenient, albeit small, fitness center.

Found it difficult to find entrance to hotel when arriving at Hyatt Place at 33 New York Ave NE. Needed information that check-in with a car needed to be at the back entrance of the hotel not the front.
