The hotel's location was great, and the front desk staff were very friendly.
Negatives:
The room was smaller than depicted in the photos, and the parking situation is misleading because I didn't see anywhere on the site where it advised that the parking was $60 or $30 if you parked in the lot across the street. We had 6 adults, and the pull-out sofa was horrible, no, I don't think horrible even describes it. This shouldn't even be offered as a sleeping option. We didn't have enough towels, and the remote control didn't work to turn up/down the volume. After all the sightseeing the city has to offer, we just wanted to come back and have a nice relaxing night's sleep, and that just didn't happen. We were also only notified of the restaurant being under construction at the time of arrival.

The stay was splendid, and the hotel is very well located. We spent two nights at the Kimpton George Hotel in Washington, D.C. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the bathroom was spectacular. The service was top-notch.
Negatives:
The only aspect that I believe could be improved is the breakfast area. The breakfast itself was somewhat limited, and there were not enough tables to sit comfortably. There are some sofas, but there is nowhere to place your coffee, making the space for having your morning coffee quite uncomfortable
