Positives:
I was so happy that they allowed pets and that I was able to tay here with my cat while I sold my house. The location is great - near Rock Creek Park, several good restaurants, and a metro stop. It's also walking distance to the Zoo and Adams Morgan. There's a handy coffee shop in the lobby, a spa & gym, a nice pool, a decent restaurant, and a nice lounge. I was able to get a late check-out for 4pm.
Negatives:
The room wasn't super clean, the decor was dated, and the bathroom was quite small. Oddly the vanity was very high and a little hard to manage for a short woman. The windows especially needed a good cleaning. I asked the cleaning person to give them a wipe - which she did but only to where she could reach and only on the inside of the window. (there was a balcony she could have used to to clean the outside). There was no self-parking and valet was $55 a night. It was pretty expensive per night considering the above.

The computer system was down and we couldn’t check in. Came back four hours later and line to check in was bedlum. No staff came to give us updates. Left and checked into another hotel that was lovely. I understand computers break down but the lack of information given to your guests was awful!
