Easy access to the metro...
Positives:
Loved the location; we could walk everywhere or ride the Metro. The staff were very helpful and kind (with the exception of the lady who checked us out -terrible mood). Felt like we and our vehicle were very safe and secure.
Negatives:
We should have been warned we’d hear trains through the night; with no way to run the fan constantly we kept waking up. There should be a white noise machine or something. The bed was a rock; literally the hardest mattress we’ve ever slept on, which did not let us sleep well.

Multiple issues with our room including holes in the carpet and a broken pull out sofa. No parking available in the garage. When we approach the supervisor on staff that night, her response was “yeah sorry” and walked away.

The room was a great size and very comfortable. Free breakfast was decent. The staff was very friendly. A 3 minute walk to the subway station and a 10 minute walk to the national mall (walking distance to Congress , Air & Space Museum, and other places).
Negatives:
There were not many restaurants nearby. A lot of it was fast food.

Enjoyed the Residence stay thoroughly,...

Our two-bedroom suite was great - space-wise, but we expected two beds in the second bedroom vs. one queen. The bedding and pillows need to be updated. The pillows are worthless. You should be able to control the temperature and we were not able to unless we turned it off altogether. Kitchen items need to be updated. Drawers seemed dirty. Outside of Netflix, there were no other apps on the TV and we couldn't "mirror" my phone to the TV so our four kids could watch Disney Plus, PrimeVideo, etc. Given technology today, we were surprised. Staff was excellent and friendly. Breakfast buffet could be improved, but we were grateful it was included in our nightly rate.
