Positives:
Clean and well appointed; nice bath facilities; bed was good; coffee and drink bar came in handy, especially all the different milks. Common area decor was very appealing, even in the courtyards. We appreciated the friendly host, John and good communication from Nico.

One window in the bathroom let in a lot of light.

A modern, welcoming home away...
Positives:
The guesthouse is in a quiet location in a pretty residential part of Georgetown. The whole of Georgetown is within easy walking distance. The hosts were really welcoming and helpful. The room was excellent with everything that you would expect. The garden areas looked really nice but November wasn't the time for sitting outside!
Negatives:
The breakfast was a little better than the standard hotel buffet breakfast but a hot choice (other than DIY boiled eggs) would have been nice.
We mostly used the Metro for getting round DC and the closest well connected station at Foggy Bottom was a 20 minute walk away.

my only negative: Room 5 is close to the kitchen, where the espresso machine is right up against the Room 5 wall. The buzzing of that machine goes right through the wall like an alarm. It would be nice, too, if the windows could open.
