Negatives:
This hotel is currently undergoing construction, which makes the mandatory “resort fee” feel completely unjustified. Throughout the night, there was constant loud banging and construction noise that made it extremely difficult to rest or sleep. The check-in experience was also disappointing. There was no proper front desk, only a very small, makeshift area immediately upon entering, which felt cramped and disorganized. In addition, the pricing for food is hard to justify when the main restaurant is not even open. Overall, given the ongoing construction, limited amenities, and excessive noise, the cost of staying here does not reflect the experience provided.

Didn’t make our rooms one day - called reception and notified them of this and just to send up fresh towels and some water but that did not eventuate.

Our stay was a complete joy! The staff were exceptionally kind, the breakfast buffet was worth every penny, and the room was so modern and spacious. We are definitely staying here again when we visit DC next time.
