This hotel is in a nice area of DC. The lobby area, restaurant and room were all clean and tidy.
Close to local transportation, restaurants and downtown. The staff were courteous and friendly.

Positives:
I received a $25 voucher for bar/breakfast and used it for breakfast. Breakfast is à la carte and wait staff is friendly. It maybe took a bit to get attention. If in a hurry it is better to get breakfast to go - the pastries are great. Great location with two drug stores (Walgreens and CVS that both have snacks, water and travel necessities) nearby. Maybe a 10 minute walk to the next metro, which is OK too. My room was big with quite a spacious bathroom and room service was offered everyday for my 2-night stay which is expected for a $200-plus/night hotel. I recently learned that some hotels don't offer that anymore "due to the short duration of the stay"... which is wild! Glad this hotel still does offer it.
Negatives:
The hotel offered premium WiFi for streaming and video calls. I was not aware of that and unfortunate as I needed to make video calls for work. However, and that's a BIG PLUS, regular WiFi worked fine for video calls.

Location was great and hotel was easy to navigate to and from.
Negatives:
I didn’t like some of that unorganized ways that things seemed. The staff was very pleasant but didn’t seem cohesive or always informed. Candidly they seemed apathetic to things. My friends eyeglasses went missing from the room and no one really checked or followed up. I called the desk for toilet paper that was never delivered. When meeting friends in the lobby for drinks and appetizers there was no direction from a very unconcerned staff- I could have left without paying if not diligent to get their attention. Just very inconsistent overall.
