Front desk staff really seemed to try and help. Manager I worked with (on room assignment) really tired to make situation better. But, the room I wanted, never became available (have no idea why?). Read below.
What did I like? Sonesta is near to people I needed to visit. However, there are many other options nearby.
Negatives:
What I do not care for at this property is the rooms with balcony's. The balcony's are very narrow (maybe 8 to 10". Maybe wider, but no room for very small table, never a chair. Once I realized that was the case for all floors above ground I knew I liked this place, but only with a ground floor room assignment. Patio area etc.
I had requested a King Suite (2 rooms I believe). Well, there may have been one, but I was continually told at check-in that it would be an hour before it was ready. Well past published check-in time. ?? Same story, after another hour. I was never told of the reason. Dog poop?
Anyway, I was finally put in a ground floor King room (not suite (2 rooms)) that I had paid for. Well, the manager did offer 25% reduction in the rate. But, this was not comparable rate to what Booking.com published, when I checked.
Room was nice! However, I was charged a higher rate than if I had gone through Booking.com.
Folks, the balcony's are minimal and hardly worth it (my experience and opinion).
I am returning to the Boca in June, '25 (next month). AND, I have made reservations for 6 nights at a different hotel. No more Sonesta for me (unless an emergency).

The bed was super comfy, although I'll never understand for the life of me why the beds need to be so HIGH! I'm only 5' tall and I almost needed a ladder to get into bed! The staff was also very nice.
Negatives:
I'm a pretty easy-going person, but I would like some hot water from the faucet in the room to wash at night and in the morning. I get that people will take as much as you leave out, but the tea and coffee in the room was a little skimpy. Even when I went down in the morning to get coffee, the pots were almost empty. I also needed to print something, and one printer was out of ink and the other one didn't print. The desk said that someone would come in 5 minutes...idk if they came after 10, but I couldn't wait. It's a nice place for the money. Just a few minor things.
