The size of the room, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast buffet was pretty decent.

It started with check in, we arrived by an Uber on Friday afternoon and my check hadn't hit my bank account yet. They wanted a credit card on file, but we're actually going to charge $50 for incidentals. The room was paid for in advance. I didn't have the $50 in my account. They didn't have an ATM and we didn't have a vehicle. I was told it was a 15 minute walk one way, over interstate 95 to the closest ATM. No exceptions I was told. I had to sell some stock at a 37% loss to cover the credit card charge.They wanted their money right then, but it doesn't get returned to my card for at least 48 hours. Then we get in the room and there's a huge palmetto bug running across the floor. We had to ask for clean sheets and towels multiple times before receiving them, and it still took hours before we got them. Finally, the pool closes at sunset (so the guests aren't disturbed) but our room was right next door to a 24 hour fitness center. I almost forgot, the fire alarm went off before 10:00 AM and we had to leave the hotel and stand in the parking lot. The least they could have done was offer a 10% dicount. I didn't even hear an apology.

Higher rods in closet. It seems like person who designed the room, I.e. closets didn’t consider women’s dresses. I had to hang my dresses on bathroom door hooks.

Would have like to sit by pool to relax at 9pm. I didn’t want to swim, just wanted to sit out side on a beautiful night and enjoy the peacefulness in safety. It was closed and seating at front door and parking lot was just not appealing.
